The First UNESCO World Heritage Site in Osaka
The Mozu-Furuichi Kofun Group, is a group of mound tombs, located in the southern park of Osaka, built about 1,600 years ago, was registered as a World Heritage Site in July, 2019. Several large and small mound tombs can be found in the area, including the world’s largest royal tomb, the Nintoku Emperor Tomb with a mound length of 486m. Visit the site and experience the history and size of these tombs.
